How long does ClearFX last?
Because any surface never exposed to wear-and-tear will last forever, the real question is how well does ClearFX protect.
ClearFX is an extremely durable, resistant coating that not only bonds on top of the surface but becomes one with it on the inside. A permanent, fortifying union, it is subject to the same conditions that would cause normal wear-and-tear on the original paint finish.

ClearFX Exterior is the most refined and effective way to manage and maximize your vehicle finish.
It intensifi es paint clarity and strengthens surface core structure to enhance scratch resistance and provide extreme durability. Compatible with all vehicle paint finishes, it can be applied on any outer hard surface including clear coat, trim, glass and wheels.
ClearFX achieves and maintains the highest rating of 10H on the Mohs Scale of Hardness: a qualitative ordinal scale of scratch resistance with values ranging from 1–10, 10 being the hardest. A diamond, classically viewed to be the hardest material on earth, is the scale standard for 10H.
The durable strength and incredible hydrophobic properties of ClearFX create an exterior surface that is much more resistant to potentially harmful contaminants such as acid rain, bird droppings, industrial fallout and UV rays.
